I just read the authors note and it’s so genuine and well written - I wish the rest of the book was as engaging! On the whole I was disappointed. It is a good idea for a story and obviously I am in the minority given all the glowing reviews. I found the structure frustrating and the writing overly prescriptive. I am sure this has been written with Hollywood in mind and it will probably make a good movie.
