Jillian and Brock’s story was a sweet one. Jillian’s past trauma was awful, and the supposed role that Brock played in it was unfortunate. It’s been years since the trauma and Jillian decided she wants to start actually living again. In this decision, she is reconnected with Brock and they are able to work through some things.  

This book was so bittersweet. Catching up with the characters from the previous books was very much needed. I mean, I started this series years ago (I think when I was still in middle school!) and it’s now come to a close. I’m just so happy for everyone 😭

P.S. 

I still would’ve loved a book about Katie. I mean how could you not??
