A successful mystery thriller author writes her final book of a series; amidst happenings from her books comes true in reality (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

Pick it up if you want to read heart pounding - page turner book

Once I read the blurb I knew this was going to be an interesting read.

Emilia Ward is a successful author who has written nine books with MC detective Miranda Moody. She is writing a final book for the series in which Miranda is chasing a long time serial killer and eventually in the end dies in the aftermath of the same.

At the start we get to see Emilia purely from a domestic perspective; slowly exploring her relationship with her husband, father in law, children, ex-husband & his wife, her friends and her book publisher. You get to see glimpses of everyone's character with both good & bad side which works perfectly for the story line when ever it is necessary. And everyone's relationship with Emilia gives us a peek into her view of things which is really interesting when a plot twist comes up!

The book format has POV from Emilia's side; snippets from her book & diary writtings from characters. When I started reading it really felt I have hold of things of where everything was going but half way through I realised; my mind was all over the place trying to match & tie the things together.

Even though the story doesn't take place in a any eerie atmospheres. It definitely gave me chills at many points & honestly my heart was racing like anything with every flip of the page. That feeling there was amazing & is what you need when you read a mystery books (。・ω・。)ノ♡

The story line might seem like heard one but the way it was written & the potartly of the characters is what makes this book stand out for me.

I did guess the final piece once I got few things in place but before that I questioned every single one in my mind. It was like solving a puzzle with character pieces.

There is something about her writing that makes her book better even though on the surface it might seem like a usual story line!

I might have found another auto buy author for psychological fiction genres ♥️
