I don't think I have ever encountered a main character that's more annoying than this one. The story itself was interesting, and the set-up was promising, but it ended up dragging on for ages. Some of it screamed "I'm not like other girls and I need to prove it to the reader" which is always exhausting to read. The ending was disappointing, but I finished it, so that counts for something.
