This was the first book I read from Ursula K Le Guin and it quickly turned her into one of my favourite writers.

This book helps me to believe that something better is possible - and I know Ursula did too - proven by the fact that she could put us inside that world with such (relative) realism, humanity and love.

Anti - capitalist science fiction makes my world go round.
