Finally, an ACoTAR book for me. I have accepted this is probably the peak of the series for me. I am a Nesta girly 100%. Nesta and Cassian's love story was so beautiful and REAL. The emotions were raw and the trauma relatable. While I enjoyed the main arc at varying levels. (Book 2 was the peak for Feyre and that is being nice about her.) This book was everything I wanted and needed from a series as hyped up as this one. Nesta's journey was so inspiring and, while I know it is unlikely, I would love book 5 to be another Nesta book. I loved all the history we learned about in this book and how it related to the story and the character growth for not only Nesta but her battle sisters was everything. Nesta tried damn hard to make me cry the first time she shoutedmy mate . If the earlier ACoTaR books weren't doing it for you, it might be worth getting through them for this one. Sadly, I think the novella A Court of Frost and Starlight is required to get the full emotional damage of this novel, it is at least a quick read.
