It was a sweet albeit cheesy read. I liked the overall story and know that her looks was a major part of the plot (it’s literally in the title), but the constant descriptions of how unattractive the female main character is wore me out. I felt like every page someone was tearing her down because of how her nose or eyes looked, whether it was her inner thoughts or someone else’s harsh words.

I get the premise of the book is about loving someone for who they are not how they look, but I feel like that could have been portrayed without tearing the main character apart every other paragraph.
