Truly, Devious by Maureen Johnson

5.0

Truly, Devious by Maureen Johnson is a great read for any readers interested in a book series about an intriguing case and where book readers as well as the power of books are appreciated. I enjoyed the witty humour in the book that is applicable to all avid book readers as well as the descriptive writing style that guides the reader. Furthermore, the book does not only focus on the Ellingham case, but also on mysteries that take place in the present time, which keeps the storyline interesting. However, there is a bit of cuss words, but this is expected, because the book series is part of the young adult genre. I look forward to reading the series as the mysteries unfold and are solved by the main protagonist and sleuth - Stevie Bell.
