The only character I cared about was Benwick. Everyone else seemed 2-dimensional and boring. I felt no reason to root for Anne, she did nothing to impress me. Nothing important really occurs to develop her character, so I don't understand why
Wentworth suddenly decides he can drop his grudge and marry her.
