All I Want for Christmas by Maggie Knox

2.0

Unfortunately, this just wasn't for me. I was excited to see how the singing competition played out in the story but it didn't play a major role. It actually was over very quickly at the beginning of the book. The pacing also felt very off to me. In the first quarter of the story, it felt as though the story could have been finished, but in fact, it was only beginning. The romance also felt very superficial. And I wasn't a fan of the constant turmoil of their relationship. I would have liked to see more character development and time spent in the plot working on building relationships.
