Of course a shitty minimum wage job at Ikea a Swedish big box store pairs you with your recent ex to go retrieve a missing customer from a wormhole....

This book feels like it was made for me! It hits all the checkmarks - magical realism, queer and trans characters, anti-capitalist sentiment, cool elderly women, multiple universes, and more! More of a novella than a novel, this is short, fun book that focuses on the relationships between characters and queer possibilities of relationships.

The dynamic between Ava and Jules is so well written. It perfectly encapsulates the feeling of a breakup when you wish things were different, have hope things may be able to be different, but don't know what that would look like.

Strongly recommend this book! Wonderful follow up to Cipri's first collection, [b:Homesick: Stories|44082027|Homesick Stories|Nino Cipri|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1562626096l/44082027._SY75_.jpg|68549011]
