Very Duggar-esque plot. I didn’t fully buy that the parents would have gone full steam on the whole marriage thing. I wish the author had spent more time making that part a bit more believable so that I could relax and enjoy the rest of the book. I also wonder if there was really the need to have two whole plot lines running about two different religious cults. No, three if you count the groom’s! Did the author have a hard time deciding which one to focus on? Still, pretty enjoyable and easily consumed in under a day.
