This work touches on prescient themes like the origins of life, adventure as heroism, camaraderie between men and the ethical boundaries of science. Who can penetrate the mysteries of life and death except one endowed with the intellect and predilection for it. Frankenstein was such a person.  He entered the university  as a talented,  well-educated,  ambitious young man with high hopes and left it deranged.  All around us, even our own beings, as creations,  point to the existence of a creator.  Frankenstein was clearly stepping on God's toes, so to speak and dearly suffered the consequences by bringing a monster to life with a heart, but no soul.   ©️
