This book was fun. It was talking about murder and death, but the tone was definitely not serious and I really enjoyed this book. It started a little slow for me; it took me a while to get into the story and figure out who everyone was and what was going on at first. That’s probably why it didn’t give me a five star feeling. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed this.

The main mystery, of the dead body and what is happening at the resort, was intriguing. I was able to figure some things out, but the reveal at the end definitely got me. That being said, the reveal felt genuine to the story and made sense, especially when it was explained with all the clues. I also liked that there were smaller mysteries around who each member of the family had killed and under what circumstances.

Once the story got going, the pace felt good and kept me engaged and wanting to figure out what would happen next. Overall, an excellent reading experience and would recommend for people who like silly, cozy-esque, locked-room mysteries.
