Maame by Jessica George

4.5

Everything that Maame has accepted as normal begins to change, and she’s left searching for a new identity in the midst of grief and fear. George dives deep into raw emotions and the many ways we present them to the outside world. As a woman in my twenties, this book lead me consider many of my own conflicting emotions in a different light and I am appreciative of that.
