A Kingdom of Blood and Betrayal
by Holly Renee
I AM SO UNWELL
- updated review -
Now that I've had time to reflect on the trauma this book caused, I'm ready to write a review. As always, this will be spoiler free (but has AKOSAS spoilers)!
Holly Renee has done it again. I don't know what she does to these books to write such a fulfilling, fast paced story that grips my heart, but she does it over and over. We pick up right where AKOSAS left off and Adara has a lot to deal with. She's been lied to her entire life, her enemy is her mate, and she has powers. She has a lot to handle and learn - which she does while battling her feelings for Evren.
Evren is even more steamy and spicy this time around, which I don't even know how Holly managed that. But she did and Evren is now book boyfriend #1.
I am counting down the days until it's time for A Kingdom of Venom and Vows.
