sayray92 's review for:
Fifty Shades of Grey
by E.L. James
While it's not the most unbelievable plot I've ever read, it's up there with the best of them. The narrator Anastasia is a naive young girl who seems oblivious to reality and the events that happen to her. Christian Grey in comparison is a relatively likable character.
On top of the character flaws there are serious questions with the writings style. Unnecessary receptions makes you think that maybe a 9th grader wrote it, and maybe a 10th grader edited it. The grammatical errors reflect these same thought.
Anyone who graduated college could have done a better job editing this book. I couldn't focus on the "love story" because I got hung up on these basic errors. I feel sad for the thousands of people who have gotten sucked into this trilogy.
