I had higher hopes for this book, but it certainly wasn't bad. Georgia felt real, as did her slow, albeit painful, discovery of herself. I could've read a whole book about Rooney and Pip, though. I wish there had been deeper character development for all involved. It felt pretty surface level, though that could be because I read as an adult. TL;DR: grateful for some pretty spot on aro/ace rep, but felt shallow outside of that. This felt like a book about being ace, not a book about someone who is ace. That's a big distinction for me as a queer, but if you're just looking for the rep, this is for you.
