Did not finish book.
DNF at 95 pages.
"Throw a bra at a nine-year-old boy. He will react as if he had a live rat wanged at his head. He will run, screaming, away from you like that Vietnamese kid covered in napalm."
Vietnamese kid covered in napalm?! That's a joke? And you're comparing it to how little boys are scared of women's undergarments?
I can't, I really can't do this to myself. I can't continue this because there is something about this brand of feminism that doesn't do it for me. Being an Asian, I obviously don't fully relate to it but I'm confused as to who the demographic of this book is. I find the arguments flawed and the logic unconvincing. Such a waste because I do enjoy Moran's fiction quite a lot.
