Alexander, Who's Not (Do You Hear Me? I Mean It!) Going to Move by Judith Viorst

5.0

Alexander, Who's Not (Do You Hear Me? I Mean It!) Going to Move was hilarious and heart warming when it comes to my childhood. Even though these books are meant for children, I feel like it gives you insight on how moving away from your community to another place can make it difficult for children. Children grow up with what they are surrounded in their environment and has a firm trust that whatever happens, I will always have my family, friends, and my house. Then when parents need to move because of job relocation, or divorce, or whatever reason, that disrupt the balance of things and especially for Alexander it gives the negative aspect that he is leaving everything that loves and adores to move far away.

I really enjoyed this book and recommend it for children who want a simple laugh or wants to relate to someone who is going through the same ordeals.
