This book is less about what's actually happening and more about how easy it is to do something stupid as a kid, and that's ok. It's about how family dynamics are effected by secrets and lies, and that you need to do things actively to heal, time doesn't heal all wounds. How you can help others with your experience ONLY once you've already healed, and you can only give your best to the people around you now once you've healed.
