I thought the first book was good, but man this was even better. Alex is her same wonderful self, and now there’s even more sexual tension between her and Death (and yes I ship that pretty freaking hard–Death is hot and he loves her and I just have a lot of feelings about this okay???).
I loved the plot of this book, it was so interesting and intriguing and there were so many twists and turns. Some things I guessed, some things took my completely by surprise, and some things I better find out in book 3 because if I don’t I will go insane. It was fast-paced and kept me on the edge of my seat pretty much the entire time. I wanted to know more and there were so many surprises that I felt my head spinning (in a good way!).
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Alex in book 3. I can’t tell you how much I love this series, it’s just so fantastically written, and the characters are amazing, and I just love this book.
