I was already obsessed with Ford when he was first introduced in the Chestnut Springs series, and this book made me love him even more. He is such a softie when it comes to the people he cares about, and I love how perfect Rosie is for him. They keep each other on their toes and I loved that they never hesitate to tell the other when they’re in the wrong. Theirs was a slow burn romance but I loved the “it’s always been you” trope in this one.

The family and friendship dynamics were everything in this one. I loved how strong the bond between the friends and family is, and Willa’s appearance in this one was one of my favourite parts. The bonus extended epilogue made me cry happy tears, so make sure you read that one too, because I can guarantee you will definitely tear up during that scene.
