Willing to Die
by Lisa Jackson
This was a very intriguing story involving Regan Pescoli's sisters, one of which, Brindel and her husband were shot dead in their beds. Their sons and daughter were missing. They lived in San Francisco. Regan decided to head there to see if she could help with the investigation along as seeing her other sisters Sarina and Collette. Although she hasn't really spoken or seen her sisters in a while.
The plot thickens as it always does with Lisa Jackson and there is no trace of a motive for killing Brindel and her husband that can be found. The sons finally turn up at Sarina's but there is still no sign of Ivy, where could she be. Then it transpires she had been to a pyschiatrist so could she be unstable? The police still have no leads and want to question her urgently. Ivy has done a runner but why?
An interesting read with a twist at the towards the end when Regan has returned home to Grizzly Falls and the bodies are mounting up. Regan has to decide if she wants to return to duty as a police officer or become a full time mum and she has been given a deadline by her boss to decide. One of the hardest decisions of her life.
I still love reading Lisa Jackson books, they still have that certain something to keep you hooked.
