A review by whimsicallyreading
Star by Yukio Mishima
3.0
This book reminds me of Delicate and the lakes by Taylor Swift.
In this book we get to live the life of a young heartthrob actor at his prime, which is revealed to be sad and lonely as he questioned about the concepts of fame, privacy, and even death.
I like Mishima’s writing, though I am not so sure whether I like the English translation. There were some sentences that were necessarily complex to me.
