Some parts of this book - particularly describing the feelings of loving someone you know to be harmful, and the justifying problematic behaviour in someone you love, were emotive and handled well.
I do however think some aspects of domestic violence were glossed over and/or not handled particularly well and could be a problematic read for someone still in an abusive situation.
