Urgh, I loved this. Emery stole my heart just like Sem did. I just want to wrap him in blankets and cuddle him forever. I admittedly needed a bit more time to love August as well, but I did in the end! I am knocking off half a star though because that third-act break-up was bullshit, and nobody can convince me otherwise. I always hate it when it's done like this because it's not necessary. It could've been avoided so easily and... yeah no. It just wasn't needed.

But I still loved all the rest! Emery is a treasure, August is so sweet and considerate (most of the time, he's not perfect, after all), I loved seeing Sem & Maggie again, I loooooved Lex, I love the mental health rep, the steam was excellent and this was just as fun as Whit and Sem. I really am starting to adore Cora's writing, which is never a bad thing. Gimme all the books!
