A chilling horror novel about a supernaturally possessed canine that finds a home with an alcoholic father and his son. Overall the tone of this book was full of hopeless dread. The pace of the book was quick and relatively easy to follow. The author certainly has a way with words especially when it came to the more grotesque bits and descriptions. Certainly don't read this book with the lights off ;)

The ending is next to perfect, leaving your jaw wide open.

Would recommend this book to those horror genre junkies. This is the first book by this author that I have read, I look forward to reading more by him.
