This is my first Sadie Kincaid book and all I can say is-I get it. I read this book at the recommendation of a friend and omg am I glad she suggested it. It all started with a text “I feel like we’d make good mafia wives,” which led to me telling her what I was reading and her suggesting this entire series. As someone familiar with romance books, I thought I had read all the tropes and figured I was getting myself into a possessive and obsessive MMC who might get a little stabby at times. I did get that, but I also got so many twists and turns that I didn’t anticipate. This book is so incredibly quick paced(in the best way) and fun. I mean, as fun as a mafia romance can get. I was set to give this book a 5 star rating but was told to wait until I read the entire series to evaluate which books and characters would be my favorite. I anticipate blowing through this series and moving on to more of Sadie Kincaid’s books.
