I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book, but I knew it would be good - every Shannon Mayer book I've read has been! There are so many layers to what Cin goes through; it's hard to know who she can trust and who she can't. The fur flies in lots of exciting action sequences, the juices flow in a few non-standard steamy scenes, and familial and friendship loyalties are tested. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cried out, "NOOO!!!" when I reached the end of the book. I cannot WAIT until book two comes out!
