The 18th Abduction by Maxine Paetro, James Patterson

challenging dark mysterious tense fast-paced

3.0

James Patterson is a master of thrillers! All his books I've read so far have been entertaining, with some heavy hitting topics scattered throughout. I was confused initially about the story of the war criminal and what actual crime he had done, however this became clear later on. I enjoyed the fact that there were two story-lines, and that we got a few chapters for each instead of a continuous flip flop between perspectives. Both stories were easy to follow and I liked that Joe and Boxer exchanged information from the start.
