hungryghosts 's review for:
Criss Cross
by James Patterson
This is another mystery/thriller by Patterson in the Alex Cross series.
Dr. Alex Cross is instrumental in sending Michael "Mikey" Edgerton to prison for a series of murders. He is executed and his wealthy family accuses Cross of framing him and being responsible for their innocent son's death by electrocution. Then there's another murder with the same MO. Did Cross condemn an innocent man?
It's a well written story, as usual for Patterson, with lots of twists and turns and red herrings. It delves into Cross' family life and has a lot of backstory.
I found this book to be less exciting than the others I've read of the series, but it's still a great read, fast paced, and perfect for when you need to escape into a good story.
