Lucky Turtle by Bill Roorbach, Bill Roorbach

I’m really dissatisfied with how this one ended. The character arcs wrapped up far too quickly, everything neatly wrapped up with huge convenient info dumps of dialogue or what have you (that although rushing to end the story seemed to drag along?).There was some dialogue about the pandemic that popped up out of NOWHERE right at the end that was unbelievably corny. I don’t want to give this one a star rating because I did really enjoy the prose and the way the plot was told in between great descriptions of the Montana wilderness, I just think that the author and then editor could have taken a far more critical eye to last 100 pages or so.
