The Wife Between Us
by Greer Hendricks, Sarah Pekkanen
I definitely enjoyed this book - it kept me on my toes. I will say that at times I found myself getting frustrated with the female characters for not exiting situations (with this man to whom they were all connected) when all the signs were there that it would get worse ... but then had to keep reminding myself that even for my own past relationships, hindsight is 20/20. I will also acknowledge that diving further and further into the book, you begin to understand how the characters got to where they are and even where they may go in the future, so it becomes easier to accept/forgive their actions. The bottom line for me is a phrase I've heard time and time again: "When someone shows you who they are, believe them."
