I liked seeing another home for the wayward children and once again we continue to have fantastic representation in these books.
Reread in March 2024: 5 stars easily. This moved the plot along and expanded the world with showing another school. I do think the other philosophical approach is a little simplistic but I still really enjoyed it. I wasn’t a Cora fan in other books but she did begin to grow on me. Seeing regan again did make the last book a little more bearable.
