to conclude... the art is so good and it accomplishes the singular plot goal it set out to do in the first book but honestly by the end I was not rooting for the protag but that's ok bc they're all terrible people and there's no correct answer to that conundrum anyway. there's probably more sophisticated dark romances out there but this one is good and the art is good enough to look at regardless
