Spirit and Dust by Rosemary Clement-Moore

Spirit and Dust was a really fun read. The main character is spunky, intelligent and sarcastic, the mystery is compelling and the plot is full of so many different things you cannot help but be entertained. Mobsters, FBI agents, ghosts, mummies, Cleopatra's ghost, witches, a T-Rex, spells, a secret brotherhood and I could go on. The author already had me absorbed but then she went and added in Cleopatra's ghost and mummies and I was a goner. Honestly parts of this book felt like The Mummy movie and Night At The Museum, with some random mobster movie thrown in.
Overall Spirit and Dust is fun with a little dash of everything, including romance and witty dialogue. I will definitely be going back for more of this series and Rosemary Clement-Moore's writing in general.
