the way it’s told is very addicting. the ten year thing is very before sunrise/sunset/midnight and i love it. the incorporation of celebrity is very taylor jenkins reid which is high praise. it’s like evelyn hugo almost if it leaned more into the romance and had a less complicated plot. i love that the characters are older when they get together since it’s not something i see often in the romance i’ve read. i love books with articles and like other texts within the book. the plot was interesting and fast paced and the alternating timelines works really well. the only things i didn’t like we’re fairly minor. the last like 20 pages of conflict didn’t really make sense and felt very rushed. it seems like the author needed some kind of third act conflict and threw that in there. the reason the fight started was also kinda stupid. but both of them are well written characters and the conflicts made sense.  gabe’s name being gabe is not the greatest. chani is such a nice name then there’s gabe. also gabe said that his family loved her but none of the scene with the family seemed like they liked her that much. also her family was missing from it i would’ve liked to see more of it. they’re said to be close and have shabbat which would’ve been nice to see. and obviously this is a romance book and i loved their relationship. they have such a good amount of tension and inevitably. it’s honestly just so sweet that he was willing to wait for her to be ready after all that time. and him saying he’s read everything she’s written is just really cute. a very good and fun read
