unfortunately, this one fell a little flat for me.

in general, i thought the premise was super interesting and had a lot of potential, but the actual execution just didn’t work for me as much as i would’ve liked it to.
the characters were likable, but i personally didn’t feel particularly attached to them. their romance was a little fast for me and i don’t think we got to see enough of them together to get really invested in their relationship. i would’ve loved to see more banter  and little moments between them.
the plot itself was a little underwhelming as well. the whole concept with the reality show was so exciting, i would’ve liked to see the author play more with that and what it means for cal and leon’s relationship because truly, no one cared about that for some reason.
furthermore, the pacing was also a little off in my opinion.
i don’t think it’s bad by any means, i just hoped for something different and i can see how it might work for other people.
