I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Se-hee

reflective fast-paced

2.5

This isn’t a bad book by any means and the author’s vulnerability in sharing it is to be commended. I’m not the target audience though - as a therapist who has been through many hours of my own therapy, there wasn’t much insight for me to gain from this book. I agree with others who found it repetitive and slow during the middle too. The most enjoyable parts for me were the reflections at the end so it did end on a high note. I’m glad I read it but it’s not one I’ll be turning to again.
