Take My Name by Brooke Montgomery
5.0

I'm so excited to start this new series from Brooke Montgomery. Take My Name was everything I was hoping for and more. The way Warren loved Maisie after all those years apart will make your heart skip a beat. That man was waving all the green flags!

Warren and Maisie were high school sweethearts, married young then separated when their lives took different paths. They reunite when she returns to their small mountain town to ask him to sign their divorce papers, but end up getting the second chance he so desperately wanted and she didn't see coming considering she was engaged to be married to another man.

The angst and tension between these two will have you feeling it deep in your bones, and you'll feel like you're going through it with them. Their journey was emotional and will have you in all your feelings, but their damn hard fought HEA will have you rejoicing for second chances. The man built her dream house after she was long gone. Can we swoon over him any harder? I think not. And that slow burn...wowzers! It may have been slow but the explosion was so worth the wait and build up. I think I saw fireworks and it's not yet the Fourth of July.

Brooke Montgomery consistently delivers stories and characters I fall in love with and never want to part with. She will forever be an auto read author for me. I can't wait to see what more awaits readers in Willow Branch Mountain.
