Speechless - I finished this one late last night, and the buzz it gave me kept me awake for hours. Deonn took apart and stitched together again the entire magic school genre, while also adding (in my opinion) a vital new angle for how Arthuriana stories are read. Not only are these some of the most multidimensional characters in YA, the skill in how she wove together the various plot points and twists is already expert. This is the kind of book that recenters your idea of what a Good Book is, and I'm thrilled to see what Deonn comes up with next.
