Great start, cliffhanger ending, but the story slows down after turning Nicky and Lestat being found by Marius. I loved the character development and I fully understand that takes time to build, but I wish it had been paced just a bit differently. As a friend told me, "It gets better once he leaves France." Love a bi king and I was so happy that Louis and Gabrielle came back, although I will admit the second relationship is very complicated.
