The Deception by K.A. Applegate

4.0

It's nearly impossible to get bored every time Ax is in charge of telling the story, although it requires certain amounts of wits and talent to deploy a character who is out of this world and, in consequence, unfamiliar with some of our traits. In this book, Visser Three has turned into Visser One and is about to start open war on humans, leaving all subtleties behind. It's the first time I've seen Ax losing it with a human cause and actually embracing that right now, at least some of his identity has gained a human nuance. The end was a complete cliff-hanger and totally breath taking.
