Grave Destiny by Kalayna Price

4.0

Alex Craft is one of my favorite paranormal-urban fantasy series and Grave Destiny did not disappoint. I was thrilled to return to the magic world of Faerie and dive into the lives of Alex, Falin, Death, and the whole crew!

It's never a good sign when Alex needs a favor from her estranged father, so when he asks for her assistance in return she agrees against her better judgment. These lead Alex down the rabbit hole of faerie where she encounters the Winter Queen and the various faerie courts while trying to solve a murder.

Alex progresses a lot in this novel, both as a person emotionally and magically. We get some more insights into her newly acquired powers and some clarity on unresolved personal issues in previous novels. A lot goes down in this book and I do not want to spoil it, but let's just say I nearly cried at the last couple of chapters as things progressed extremely fast and potentially game-changing for future novels.
