I love that this Advent Devotional is not just a devotional but a study of the book of Luke. I enjoyed reading through Luke and doing a Bible study along with it. I never thought about how perfect Luke is for Advent - 24 days leading right up to Christmas on the 25th.
Susie follows the scriptures each day and encourages us to “embrace holy contentment and holy expectancy simultaneously” as we look at the life of our Savior this Christmas. I love how she tied in what she learned from the study of Luke and from other Bible scholars and writers on the book of Luke to guide us to Christmas Eve, so we can end the season, as Mary, “may everything You’ve said about me come true.” And “Help me to love the life You’ve promised me.” May it be.
