This is the second book about the Golem and the Jinni. I think I preferred the first book. In this book we see the Jinni and Golem trying to keep up with the ever changing world around them. The author extends on some of the storylines from the first book and some I found unnecessary. She also introduces another Golem and a Jinneyeh. She also seemed to focus more on Chava, the Golem, instead of the Jinni. I wanted the Jinni to have more to his story and the ending felt a little lackluster.
