Absolutely adored this one! Loved the story line, loved the cute relationship. Good book!
This is an enchanting fantasy romance. The romance in this book is more of a slow burn with instant attraction. There is mild spice. While there is only a few descriptive spicy scenes there is also spicy inner monologue. The book moves at a steady pace following Avery as she has to learn to use, and comtrol her magic in the Fae realm. She does this all while fighting the constant allure to Riel. Avery is a treasured Human from the American government, and Riel is a 2nd prince of the Fae. Any relationship between them will come with a lot of problems, including political. Avery is a giving person. Often giving past her limits. Riel is a undervalued spare heir with a good heart. The book is written in contemporary times within a parallel world, pulling a bit of reality with a ton of fantasy
