Interesting to read about life in the 1800s, but I just don't think it's my cup of tea. There's a lot of talk about the problems of the families of high society, but I personally find it hard to romanticize that life when I think about the quality of life for people in that era, especially the servants mentioned. Also too much talk about cousin marriage for my liking. But overall, I do like the love story, and I'm glad that I read it.
