This book was amazing.
I couldn’t even stop thinking about it during work. The days I was free from work, all I wanted to do was sit down and read.
This book talks about race in such an interesting way. And the ending was everything I could have hoped for!
Bonus point: I knew this book was gonna be about race but I was surprised and happy about the other topics brought up too. Like the fears of coming out and the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community, specifically when one is part of a community where being anything but straight is seen as bad. I was not expecting it but man, it well done. It didn’t take away any of the spotlight from the whole race plot-line but still got it’s own little moments to shine.

I will 100% read any book this beautiful talented author writes.
